The band are from Chicago - the music is from outtaspace - funky electro house with loads of jazzy beats and pieces worked in - a good deal of tongue in cheek and feet on dancefloor - top party tunes...

Not being a fan of electronic music....
I find this album quite good. I've always been a fan of old-timey Jazz and Swing music and when the Greens Keepers throw a drumbeat on it and some synths it takes on a whole new brand of dance music. God bless these guys for bringing back the prohibition-era Jazz and Swing and adding a new twist on it for the next generation.

If you hear this album, you may love it or hate it, but either way you'll be talking about it to and with all your friends.

Swingin when not annoyin
This CD has some good swinging house tunes on it but sadly they chose to interject a very grating radio DJ voice (Ziggy Franklen) to introduce many of the songs. I wish music producers would understand that this kind of cheesy humor may be mildly entertaining the first time you listen but by the tenth time you're scambling to find the fast-forward button. I would have given this four stars if not for the simulated radio crud.

Thank god for MP3's and the ability to cut this garbage out.
